Great British Tents stretch marquee

Creating great supplier collaborations

Behind the Lens: from the ground up with Great British Tents Cowdray’s Walled Garden

As we dive into the intricacies of wedding planning, there’s always two sides to every wedding story. Here, I go behind the scenes focusing on a wedding supplier collaboration. It brings together my wedding photography and some of the great wedding businesses across the home counties.

At the heart of every wedding there’s a community of brilliant people. Each contributes a unique touch to create an unforgettable celebration. As a wedding photographer, I love working alongside other suppliers who help bring couples’ visions to life. There’s so much that often goes unseen. I’m delving into what goes on the behind-the-scenes when it comes to marquee construction.

I recently worked collaboration with Kieran at Great British Tents. We embarked on a journey to document the process of setting up his stretch tent for a wedding fair at Cowdray. This  provided a great opportunity to showcase the craftsmanship and dedication involved in creating the perfect tent for a special day. With an early start and a detailed brief, I was able to create a visual narrative that showcased the stretch tent (and all important Landy Bar) from the ground up. I also captured the dedication and skill that go into creating the perfect tent for your special day.

Why collaborate with a Photographer?

Showcasing Craftsmanship: Having a professional photographer creating quality, behind-the-scenes images allows suppliers to showcase the precision and care that goes into their work, establishing trust with potential clients.

Storytelling: The visual narrative I created transforms the marquee build into a story, making it a compelling part of a wedding supplier’s portfolio.
Social Media: Having evergreen shareable content featuring behind-the-scenes moments generates far more engagement on social media. This is appealing to potential clients and fosters a sense of community.

Beyond Photography: Building a Wedding Community

I’m always up for a collaboration with wedding suppliers. Whether that’s marquees, venues, wedding planners, florists, caterers or hair and makeup artists, collaborations go way beyond the lens. They build a wedding supplier community united by a passion for creating unforgettable wedding experiences. The benefits are there for suppliers and couples alike.

For Wedding Suppliers:

Enhanced Portfolios: Getting some behind-the-scenes images really add depth and authenticity to portfolios, showcasing the craftsmanship, creativity, and dedication that define you.

Marketing Power: Engaging visual content becomes a powerful tool for marketing across various platforms, helping you stand out in an often crowded market.

Community Support: Collaborating with other suppliers fosters a sense of community, opening doors for referrals, shared resources, and mutual support.
For Couples:

Informed Decision-Making: If you’ve just got engaged and are in the process of building a suppliers list you can get a deeper understanding of the suppliers you are thinking of choosing. This helps ensure that each element of your wedding aligns with your vision.

Visual Inspiration: Behind-the-scenes photography is great for inspiration, helping you visualize your dream day and make informed choices.

Trust in Suppliers: Seeing real images of more than just the finished product really showcases the expertise of suppliers through behind-the-scenes moments, instilling confidence in their ability to deliver an exceptional service.
