A little Wednesday wisdom for all you engaged coup A little Wednesday wisdom for all you engaged couples…

Your wedding gallery shouldn't just be the big moments.

It’s also the ones you didn’t see.

That one look couples share when they realise “we actually did it”
Your four legged friend stealing the limelight ... or possibly not!
Your siblings' reactions as your dad sees you for the first time
A flower girl's curious inspection of solar lamp
When your uncle pipe's your guests to their seats
Help from two generations for the final preparations
A moment between siblings away from the buzz

Those tiny slices of the day are often the ones couples say they love the most.

Curious what those moments look like?
Have a scroll through my portfolio and see how the story unfolds

Because the best wedding photos are often the ones you didn’t know were happening.

A little Monday motivation to start you thinking. A little Monday motivation to start you thinking.

When you imagine your wedding photos, what kind of moments do you picture most?

This or That?

Quiet just-married moments or wild dancefloor chaos
Champagne spray or confetti showers
Dogs at weddings or horses in the portraits
Golden hour couple photos or rainy romantic ones
Belly laughs with your best mates or happy tears with your mum

The truth is … the best wedding galleries have all of it.
The big moments everyone expects, and the tiny ones nobody noticed happening. I'm here to capture it all.

I live for those blink-and-you-miss-them moments that tell the real story of the day.

If you’d like to see more of the moments couples didn’t even realise I captured…

You may not know - but I'm running this year's Lon You may not know - but I'm running this year's London Marathon which is just 5 weeks away - that means 26th April is looming at me like a tidal wave.

There are days when I really wonder if I've taken leave of my senses. I've always said I would never run a road marathon. Then in 2023, after hearing the achievements of others who also thought they would never run a marathon and even those who thought they wouldn't, have now done so and haven't regretted it, I joined them, running the London Marathon in a staggering 4:11 hours in 2024.

I didn't run it again last year as I'd said to everyone who knew me, I'm a one marathon girl. So I took my camera and photographed the @teampspa runners as they came over Tower Bridge. And boy did the FOMO hit!! So I rattled off a ballot application on my return and to my amazement, excitment & horror, got a ballot place for 2026. It was meant to be - wasn't it?

It's been way, way harder to train again than I ever imagined it would be. A frozen shoulder, torn calf muscle, the rain, the cold and general "I'm not sure I'm cut out for this" thoughts have made training tougher than I ever thought possible.

Come what may, I will be on that start line in weeks' time, once again running for the loveliest, most supportive charity there is in PSPA. I'd love to be able to donate some much needed funds to the charity so it can continue its research into both PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) and CBD (Corticobasal Degeneration) to find a cure, or at least something that might slow the progress down. These illnesses are so little understood and every person who lives with them will almost certainly experience different symptoms and different methods of coping as their indepence and health deteriorate over time.

Diagnosis is slow and protracted - mum's took 12-15 months - even once confirmed, there's no knowing what's coming at you. Watching my once super fit, energetic, busy mum who loved to travel, play tennis and walk for miles, reduced to being hoisted out of bed and fed with a teaspoon was incredibly difficult. Becoming a great granny just before she died was her final highlight.

One whole year of this From a beautifully intimat One whole year of this

From a beautifully intimate ceremony at Edes House to a reception that turned all the way up at The White Horse… this day has stayed with me ever since.

It had everything; the quiet, emotional moments that hit you right in the chest, and the kind of laughter that makes your face ache. The best kind of wedding, for two absolute best friends who just get each other.

12 months on and it still feels just as special

Happy first anniversary you two — here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments
